Why see Addison Rae?
The Addison Tour
The world is her oyster, baby come touch the pearl. A friend and collaborator of Charli XCX (The Von Dutch Remix), TikTok superstar Addison Rae is pop's newest main girl. A competitive dancer, Addison continues to redefine the American dream, using the fame she found through her fame (88 million followers, to be exact) to propel her into pop superstardom.
In 2024, Addison dropped her major label debut Diet Pepsi - an early Lana Del Rey-esque track, with less tragedy and unmistakably Addison. She followed the release with the Madonna-inspired Aquamarine and the trip-hop escapist Headphones On. After releasing her debut self-titled album, it debuted at number one on the New Zealand Albums Chart and reached the top ten in twelve countries, including the US and UK.
One thing is clear: Addison Rae has something to say - and the world is listening.
About Addison Rae
After receiving a lukewarm reception for her 2021 single Obsessed, Addison underwent a pop transformation when she met Elvira Anderfjard and Luka Kloser (both from Max Martin's MXM Studios). Addison's tracks were co-written and produced by Anderfjard and Kloser, with a sound that is both seductive and wistful, full of '90s house synths and hazy, but hard-hitting lyrics.
It wasn't always so straightforward for the alternative pop queen, Addison nearly suffered the small-town fate after missing out on LSU's Tiger Girls; however, after becoming the fifth most-followed person on TikTok, Addison was able to transition into different ventures, including music and acting. She made her film debut in the Netflix comedy He's All That (2021) and starred in the horror film Thanksgiving (2023) before settling in her lane as pops brightest new star.
