The baroque comes to Brooklyn courtesy of Wordless Music and Warner Bros. with this extra special presentation of visionary Stanley Kubrick's epic period romp, Barry Lyndon. Expertly restored, the movie will play alongside the 50 piece Wordless Music Orchestra who will recreate the score live, note for note. Including excerpts from many of classical music's golden age composers such as Mozart, Bach, Schubert and Vivaldi, the film's Oscar-winning score is as much a character as the charming rogue himself.

the story of Barry Lyndon

Based on the novel by William Makepiece Thackery (of Vanity Fair fame), Barry Lyndon follows the rise and fall of one Redmond Barry, an ambitious young irishman who will stop at nothing to reach the status of a wealthy nobelman. Too numerous to fully detail here, his exploits see him ducking and diving through the military, gambling, conning and seducing his way up the social ladder until he reaches his goal. But once there, can he hold on to his ill gotten gains, or will this chancers luck run out?
